Sundial: The sundial is located in the green space near the front
entrance of Ferrell Hall. It is a gift to the university from the Class of 1930. The sundial is inscribed with the
phrase, "My face marks the sunny hours, what can you say of yours." It tells the time between
the hours of 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. based on the position of the sun.
Class Markers: Located on the sidewalk connecting the Drain-Jordan Library and Hill Hall, the Class
of 1908, 1930, and 1952 markers represent the enjoyable memories and fellowship of past WVSU graduating classes.
